Converting a lead to a customer

Our main objective for the CRM is to achieve converting prospective customers into subscribers of our services.

We can choose to convert leads to customers by accessing the actions tab and clicking Convert .

This will initiate the conversion process, consisting of three steps.

  1. Select the quote/s - quotes that will be used to create the customer's services. (The services quoted and agreed upon).

Leads Step 1

  1. Customer information - choose which type of conversion we want to use, create active customer and invoice or create inactive customer and proforma invoice. We can choose to complete the conversion within this step by clicking convert now, skipping the services step, or continue to add services existing on the customers quote. Leads Step 2

  2. Services - The final step, allowing us to edit the services of the quote we selected in step 1. Once all details have been entered, we can complete the process by clicking on convert to customer. Leads Step 3

The leads module is also linked to the support system whereby you can log new tickets on behalf of the customer or view open or closed tickets linked to them. You can do this by navigating to the Support drop-down as shown below: Lead Support
